The carport/entertainment area is flanked on one side by a tropical
bed of Palms and banana trees while the other side is privatized
by a 12 foot Grey block wall that provides an earthy, textural
backdrop. Colors were also carefully chosen to “camouflage”
the homes and make them |

less intrusive in the traditional north Austin neighborhood.
The side-by-side orientation of the homes forced the creation
of small intimate gardens on the sides of home and allowed both
of them to have private “backyards”.
